🌟 About the Project

Join Outward Bound Romania Youth Center for an adventure-filled experience in outdoor education and youth work.

🌟 Key Activities:

Assist in adventure education courses and outdoor training logistics.
Support equipment management and facility operations.
Gain practical experience leading outdoor educational programs for diverse groups.
Learn to independently design, facilitate, and conduct outdoor education activities.

You’ll develop basic outdoor skills, pedagogical competencies, and build solidarity through teamwork and outdoor challenges.

🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport

🏠 Accommodation:

Shared flat with 3 rooms in Sovata, provided by Outward Bound Romania.

🍴 Food and Pocket Money:

150 EUR/month for food.
4 EUR/day pocket money.

✈️ Travel Costs:

International and local transport costs covered (with valid invoices and tickets).

📚 Training and Support

On-arrival and mid-term training organized by the Romanian National Agency.
Internal courses on:
- Expedition planning and water activities.
- Ropes course and rock climbing.
- Using outdoor experiential learning as a tool for personal and group development.

👥 Participant Profile

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers who:

Are 20–30 years old and residents of an EU country.
Are college graduates.
Can commit to living in Sovata for 9 months.
Have a good level of English.
Enjoy working with children and young people (experience is a plus).
Love nature, hiking, and outdoor activities and have physical endurance.
Adapt easily, embrace challenges, and are open to learning.
