📝 What Is the Project About?

Join a hands-on volunteering experience with the Portuguese Red Cross - Cucujães Branch to make a positive impact in a rural community:

🌟 Key Activities Include:

Working with children and youth.
Supporting elderly people through leisure activities, kitchen, and laundry assistance.
Maintaining and cleaning a Pilgrim Shelter for Santiago de Compostela and Fátima pilgrims.
Engaging in activities with people recovering from addictions.
Contributing to environmental and sustainability projects.

This diverse project is ideal for motivated volunteers eager to learn, grow, and support vulnerable groups.

🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport

🏠 Accommodation: Shared apartment within walking distance of the volunteering venue.

Fully equipped with furniture, Wi-Fi, utilities, bed linen, and towels.

💶 Allowance: €300/month (for food and pocket money).
🩺 Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for all medical needs.
🚶‍♀️ Volunteers walk to and from the venue daily.

📚 Training and Support

✈️ Travel Costs: Covered by the ESC Programme for round-trip tickets.
