๐งฉ Activities & Methodology
Volunteers will support two main camps: a Family Camp near Lake Balaton and an Art Therapy Camp in Verลce. Tasks include assisting with creative workshops, supporting children during activities, helping organise games and excursions, and contributing to communication materials such as photos and short content. Additional community activities will also take place in Budapest.
๐ฏ Objectives
The project aims to strengthen self-confidence and self-expression of children with limb differences while creating an inclusive and supportive environment for families. It also promotes social inclusion, creativity and community building.
๐ Accommodation & Food
Volunteers will stay in shared accommodation in Budapest (two volunteers per room) in a fully equipped apartment. Pocket money is 7 EUR/day and food allowance is 7 EUR/day. Meals are provided during camps and a public transport pass is included.
โ๏ธ Travel
Travel costs are reimbursed according to ESC programme rules.
๐ Certification
Participants will receive a Youthpass certificate.
โ Participant Profile
The project is looking for motivated volunteers aged 18โ30 who are interested in working with children and contributing to a creative and supportive environment. You should be open-minded, reliable and willing to take part in community activities. English level should be around B2. Previous experience is not required but is considered an advantage. Due to accommodation conditions, female volunteers are preferred. A criminal record certificate will be required for selected participants.
