A Budapest-based youth NGO is looking for an Erasmus+ International Project Manager Intern to join its dynamic team. Square of Youth Association works on international youth projects and is seeking a creative, proactive individual ready to contribute across project implementation, grant writing, social media, and local programme organisation. This is a flexible, part-time traineeship โ€” with home office options and a startup atmosphere โ€” offering genuine insight into the world of international youth work right in the heart of Central Europe.

๐ŸŒ Did You Know? Budapest is one of Europe’s most stunning capital cities, split by the Danube River into the hilly Buda and the vibrant flat Pest. Home to the largest thermal bath system in Europe, a thriving ruin bar scene, and a rich cultural heritage, it consistently ranks among the top cities in Europe for quality of life, affordability, and student experience.

What Will You Do?

๐Ÿ“‹ Project Implementation: Actively participate in the planning and implementation of international youth projects managed by the association.
๐Ÿ” Grant Opportunity Research: Identify potential funding and grant opportunities relevant to the organisation’s youth work activities and strategic goals.

๐ŸŒ Did You Know? Youth NGOs in Europe collectively manage hundreds of millions of euros in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps funding each year. Project managers in this sector develop some of the most transferable skills in the job market โ€” grant writing, cross-cultural coordination, event management, and stakeholder communication โ€” making youth work experience highly valued across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
