Ready for a short and intense adventure? Join this 2-week ESC Team Volunteering project in Kwidzyn to transform a neglected yard into a vibrant community chill zone. You will work with an international crew to dismantle old structures, plant new greenery, and build sustainable furniture!
🌍 Did You Know? Kwidzyn is famous for its massive 14th-century Gothic castle and cathedral complex, which features the largest "dansker" (toilet tower) in Europe!
Main Tasks
🏗️ Dismantling: Team up to take down and remove a giant, broken old tent blocking the creative space.
🌿 Garden Restoration: Clear the ground, clean up debris, and plant new greenery to reboot the YouthSpace garden.
🪑 DIY Construction: Build sustainable urban furniture from scratch to create a functional outdoor chill zone.
🤝 Community Building: Bond with volunteers from across Europe while making a visible impact on the local youth community.
Logistics & Support
🏠 Accommodation: Shared rooms in a student-standard facility with all bills covered.
💰 Financials: Pocket money for food and expenses (approx. 90€ + 350 PLN) and health insurance provided.
✈️ Travel: Costs reimbursed based on distance according to the EU distance calculator.
🎓 Training: Introduction, integration meetings, skill-oriented sessions, and Youthpass certification training.
