What Will You Do as a Volunteer?

๐ŸŽชManage circus school reception and process circus school registrations, serving as the first point of contact for students, families, and members
๐Ÿ“‹Support the company administrator in day-to-day operational and administrative tasks across the organisation
๐ŸŽญProvide support to event production teams during performances, shows, and community events organised by Galway Community Circus
โœ๏ธCreate internal communication materials and ESC-related content to keep the team and community informed and engaged
๐ŸคAttend and take an active role in team meetings, contributing your ideas and perspective to the work of the organisation
๐Ÿ•˜Work 38 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, in a professional and supportive arts environment

Accommodation, Food & Travel

๐Ÿ GCC provides a shared house for up to 4 ESC volunteers โ€” the house has three bedrooms including two single rooms and one twin room, with rotation options throughout the year
๐Ÿ’กAll basic bills are fully covered by GCC including internet, heating, electricity, and maintenance โ€” you simply move in and focus on your volunteering
๐Ÿ’ถYou will receive โ‚ฌ11 per day in pocket money plus a โ‚ฌ180 monthly food allowance to cover your meals and daily expenses
๐ŸŒŠYou will be based in Galway โ€” Ireland's vibrant cultural capital on the west coast, renowned for its arts scene, festivals, and welcoming community atmosphere

Training & Learning

๐ŸŽ“GCC provides training across various skills โ€” your primary learning comes through practical, hands-on work experience supported directly by the company administrator
