What Will You Do as a Volunteer?

🎶 Support the development and delivery of cultural activities, music events, and arts workshops

🎬 Assist in audiovisual production, including video recording, editing, and photography

📱 Manage and create content for social media channels to promote cultural events

🎪 Help organise public events, concerts, and community programmes at the cultural centre

🌱 Explore sustainability practices through a rural community project linked to the organisation

💡 Design and implement your own personal project with the full guidance and support of the team

Accommodation, Food & Travel

🏠 You will stay in a shared flat in the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the cultural centre

🛏️ The flat includes four fully furnished single rooms, a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room

✈️ Travel costs from your home country to Almería and back are fully covered by the ESC programme

🍽️ Accommodation, food, and pocket money are all covered throughout the duration of your volunteering

🚶 Almería is a walkable city — no transportation concerns during your stay

Training & Learning

📋 Pre-departure training will be provided by the supporting organisation before you arrive

🎓 On-arrival and mid-term evaluation training will be organised by the national agency of Spain

🛠️ Task-specific training will be provided directly by the host organisation during your activity

🗣️ Spanish language classes are included, along with access to the Online Language Support tool

Participant Profile

💃 You are passionate about music, arts, and cultural exchange — artistic skills are welcome but not required

🌍 You are open-minded, responsible, creative, and eager to embrace new experiences

🗣️ You can communicate in English and are willing to learn Spanish during your stay

🎥 Previous experience in audio/video production, graphic design, or NGO communication is a plus

✉️ A motivation letter and a personal project idea are required as part of your application
