The Mythos Project takes place at Manas Garden near Lengyeltóti and brings together an international team of volunteers who will collaborate on creative construction, artistic workshops, and community living. The experience blends art, sustainability, nature, and teamwork in an immersive outdoor environment.
🌍 About the Project
This 3-week ESC volunteering teams project gathers 15 young participants to co-create a monumental installation as part of the creative environment connected to the Manas Festival.
Days focus on hands-on building, artistic experimentation, and outdoor work, while evenings revolve around community life, shared cooking, reflection, and connecting with nature.
Participants will also experience living within a permaculture-inspired community, learning about sustainable living and collaborative decision-making.
🎯 Volunteer Tasks
🪵 Building a large-scale artistic installation using wood and natural materials

🛠 Supporting practical outdoor construction and creative building work

⛺ Accommodation in shared tents (2–6 people) with basic bedding provided
🛌 Volunteers should bring a warm sleeping bag as temperatures may drop to 5°C at night
🚿 Access to communal hot showers, washing machine, and shared kitchen
🥗 Vegetarian meals prepared together using ingredients from the community
🌡 Typical May temperatures range between 10°C and 21°C
