🔍 About the Project

  • 🛡 Raise Awareness: Equip young people with the tools to combat xenophobia and Islamophobia while promoting social inclusion.
  • 🌈 Foster Tolerance: Encourage empathy and multicultural appreciation, strengthening solidarity and respect for cultural diversity.
  • 🌐 Build Communication Skills: Engage in activities that develop intercultural communication and understanding.
  • 📣 Promote Active Participation: Inspire youth to actively engage in civic life and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • 🤝 Strengthen Collaboration: Unite participants from diverse cultural backgrounds to foster lasting international cooperation.

👥 Participant Profile:

  • Age: 18–30 years old.
  • Residency: Romania.
  • Interest: Motivated to learn and engage in diversity and inclusion topics.
  • Commitment: Actively participate in all project stages and share knowledge gained.
  • Openness: Embrace diversity and intercultural exchange.

Group Leader Profile:

  • Age: 18+
  • Skills: Communication, team coordination, planning, and leadership experience.
  • Experience: Volunteering and non-formal education with youth.
  • Language: Advanced English proficiency.

💸 Costs and Support:

  • Accommodation, food, and materials: Fully covered by the organizers.
  • Travel reimbursement: Up to €275 per participant, as per Erasmus+ regulations.
  • Contribution fee: €25 (waived for Euroactive volunteers and individuals with fewer opportunities).
  • Travel insurance: Mandatory and covered by participants.

📋 Application Process:

  1. 📖 Read: Review the info-pack and participant contract.
  2. 📝 Apply: Complete the application form authentically and thoughtfully.
  3. 📩 Submit: Submit your application by the deadline.
  4. 📧 Notification: Results will be shared via email by 20 January 2025.
  5. ✅ Confirm Participation: Sign and submit the participant contract with proof of contribution payment within 3 days of selection.
