🌍 About the Project
This ESC Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Nîmes, France 🇫🇷, a historic Roman city in the south of France close to the Mediterranean coast.
The project aims to promote European mobility, active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue among young people and the wider local community. The volunteer will work closely with the mobility team and project managers, contributing to animation activities, educational workshops, and Erasmus mobility projects.

💼 Main Activities
✨ Co-leading workshops in schools and youth centres on European citizenship, mobility, interculturality, languages and non-formal education
✨ Supporting Erasmus internship and mobility projects (recruitment, interviews, communication with candidates)
✨ Assisting communication and outreach activities
✨ Facilitating animation activities for young people
✨ Promoting European opportunities within the local community
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
🏠 Single bedroom in a shared flat (4 people), 15 minutes walking distance from the city centre
💶 Pocket money: €8 per day
💶 Food allowance: €9 per day
✈️ Travel costs covered according to Erasmus+ distance bands
🕒 Working hours: Up to 32 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00, Friday afternoons off)
🎓 Training During the Activity
🎓 On-arrival training and mid-term evaluation organised by the French National Agency
🎓 Weekly French language classes adapted to the volunteer’s level
🎓 Additional training opportunities depending on availability
👤 Participant Profile
👤 Interested in youth work, European mobility and intercultural learning
👤 Comfortable facilitating workshops and working with young audiences
👤 Proactive and creative in animation activities
👤 Good level of English (basic French is a plus)
👤 Flexible, communicative and adaptable
👤 Ready to take initiative in non-formal education and language workshops
