๐ The European Citizenship Seminar will take place in ฤฐstanbul, Tรผrkiye, bringing together Turkish-speaking youth workers to explore, debate and co-create methods on European Citizenship and how to transfer this knowledge effectively to young people.
๐งญ This activity is part of a Training and Cooperation Activity (TCA) under Erasmus+ & ESC, designed to strengthen the impact and quality of the programme through capacity building and thematic reflection.
๐ฌ The seminar offers a deep exploration of European Citizenship, its contemporary relevance and the role of youth work in fostering democratic engagement, belonging and active participation.
๐ Participants will work with non-formal education methods, exchange best practices and develop future project ideas focused on citizenship and youth participation.
๐ฏ Specific Objectives
๐ช๐บ Explore the concept of European Citizenship and its relevance today
๐ณ Reflect on the role of youth work in fostering democratic engagement and belonging
๐ Equip participants with NFE tools to address citizenship topics locally
๐ค Share best practices related to youth participation in democratic life
๐ Encourage networking and future Erasmus+ project development on citizenship
๐ฅ Participant Profile
Recommended for youth workers, trainers, youth leaders and youth project managers working directly with young people.
๐ฃ Working language: Turkish (the entire programme will be conducted in Turkish)
๐ Application form must be completed in English
๐ฅ Open to both newcomers and experienced youth workers with strong motivation

๐ Accommodation, Food and Travel
๐จ Accommodation, programme and food will be organised and covered by the hosting National Agency.
๐ Accommodation will be in single rooms.

๐ For Erasmus+ Programme Countries: The National Agency of your country of residence will reimburse your travel costs. You must contact your NA before applying to confirm coverage.
๐ For Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU: Turkish National Agency will reimburse travel expenses. Details will be shared with selected participants.
