🌍 Project Overview
📚 This full-time internship takes place at the Language Learning Hub (LLH) within the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics at the University of Limerick, Ireland.
The LLH is a dynamic resource centre supporting language learners, teachers and researchers through multimedia materials and language-focused activities.
Interns will:
📖 Support students in improving language skills using video, audio and printed materials
📦 Manage borrowing systems and update databases
🗂 Assist lecturers and students in locating learning resources
💻 Help with computer queries and language learning software
🖨 Prepare photocopies, scans and printed materials
🎥 Support equipment use (interactive whiteboard, scanner, audio lab, projector, etc.)
🗓 Assist with room bookings and daily operations
🧹 Maintain an organised and welcoming learning environment
Interested trainees may also act as language facilitators in discussion groups or one-to-one sessions (especially if native in French, German or Spanish).
The intern works closely with a mentor who evaluates progress daily in English and professional skills.
