This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Leipzig, Germany, within a workshop environment supporting people with intellectual disabilities. The project focuses on inclusion, dignity at work, social participation, and everyday support, offering volunteers direct, hands-on experience in inclusive employment and social work practices.
Volunteers will contribute to daily work routines while supporting individuals with disabilities in a respectful, structured, and empowering environment.

๐ค Supporting people with disabilities in daily work and employment routines
๐ฆ Participating in light packaging and manual work activities
๐งฉ Providing simple guidance and structured support during work processes
๐ Working with different groups depending on support needs and independence levels
๐จ Engaging in creative and hands-on activities such as decoration and handicrafts
๐ Contributing to an inclusive and respectful working environment
The placement allows flexibility to experience different groups and working methods throughout the activity.

๐ Single room in a shared apartment with other ESC volunteers in Leipzig
๐งน Shared responsibility for household cleaning
๐ Monthly public transport ticket provided
๐ฝ๏ธ Monthly food allowance and pocket money included
๐ Training & Learning Support
๐ฉ๐ช Basic German language support (non-formal, no official course)
๐ Participation in ESC On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Seminar
๐ Joint project days on solidarity, participation, and social topics

๐ Aged 18โ30
๐ง Interested in inclusion, social work, and supporting people with disabilities
๐ค Open-minded, empathetic, respectful, and team-oriented
๐จ Willing to engage in practical and creative tasks

๐ Reliable, motivated, flexible, and ready to take initiative
No prior experience is required โ motivation and commitment are essential.
