๐ŸŒฑ Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Lรฅngasjรถ, Sweden ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช and focuses on sustainable living, regenerative practices, and responsible community-based entrepreneurship. Volunteers engage in hands-on sustainability learning within a rural setting where environmental, social, and economic dimensions are interconnected, aligned with EU values of democracy, inclusion, and solidarity.

๐ŸŽฏ Volunteering Activities
Activities are based on on-the-job learning across five key pillars:
๐ŸŒฟ Regenerative Hospitality โ€“ Supporting daily operations within a regenerative hospitality setting
๐ŸŒณ Agroforestry โ€“ Contributing to land-based and nature-positive practices
๐Ÿฅ— Vegetarian & Vegan Cooking โ€“ Participating in sustainable food preparation and kitchen routines
๐Ÿ”ง Farm Maintenance & Sustainable Forestry โ€“ Assisting with maintenance tasks and forest stewardship
๐Ÿค Group-Led Learning โ€“ Off-the-job activities within the volunteer group, with facilitated reflection, intercultural exchange, and personal growth
๐ŸŽฏ Contributions directly support SDGs 4, 12, 13, and 15, while building sustainability skills and leadership capacity

๐Ÿก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐Ÿ  Housing in an on-site volunteer building or a nearby village house
๐Ÿšฒ Bicycle and helmet provided (5-minute bike ride or 15-minute walk)
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Private bedrooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms
๐Ÿš† Nearest train station: Emmaboda (12 km)
๐Ÿš— Company car available for transfers to the station for weekends or holidays
๐Ÿฅฆ Vegetarian/vegan meals served on-site or prepared by volunteers

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Workshops and on-the-job training across the five sustainability pillars
๐ŸŽ“ Mentoring by an external independent mentor
๐ŸŒ Excursions to other local sustainable initiatives

๐ŸŽจ Cultural visits such as art exhibitions, a local glass factory, and historical sites
